Pilot 2: So Dam Local

Presenters Cathy and Nic introduced the concept (with the mics off); a lifestyle show covering local food, film, culture and community. Nicola’s first ever Amsterdam Kitchen report took viewers behind the scenes on Restaurant Day in Amsterdam. Local band, Scarlet were a highlight. With their debut album release the next evening they gave us an acoustic song and chatted with Cathy in the studio about their saucy video, recording with Arctic Monkey’s producer, their half-Caribbean half Dutch origins and more.

Pilot 1 What’s Up Amsterdam

On Monday 3 March Broadcast Amsterdam let loose Nate Tytor and his rude boys for their first show. Guests Gregory Shapiro and Kira Nijenhuis joined the team for an irreverent what’s on weekly guide, building on the popular audio podcast, What’s Up Amsterdam.
